CHANNEL 20: COSMIC CHAT w/JAFFAR (Negative Outcomes of Men Not Seeking Help)

Men view asking for assistance with psychological or emotional issues as a sign of weakness or shame. This perception largely stems from other men, who are often the harshest critics, judging and shaming their peers. They knock each other down and criticize those who are already struggling.

Cardiovascular disease in men is the leading global cause of death, accounting for 17.3 million deaths per year, a number expected to grow to more than 23.6 million by 2030. Heart disease is the number one killer of men. (Source: Dan Bates, PhD, LPCC-S, NCC, BC-TMH)

Men need to change how they view asking for help. Admitting a problem should be recognized as a display of strength, not weakness. Men should encourage each other, especially younger men, to acknowledge problems instead of ignoring them.

Why Men’s Groups Are More Important Than Ever

In a world where many men feel isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next steps in life, finding the right support system is essential.

Men’s groups provide a powerful space for connection, accountability, and personal growth.

Whether you're looking for deep emotional work, practical life strategies, or a brotherhood of like-minded men, the right group can be life changing. (Source: Grow Dangerously/CT Dool)
