The Funky, Funky But Chic with SIR WALL (FFBC) Podcast explores human nature and authenticity, fostering honest conversations to help listeners connect with their true selves and live in alignment with their highest good.
You’ve been moving through the world wearing names that were handed to you, roles you never auditioned for, expectations you never agreed to carry. But beneath all of that… there is someone you haven’t met in a long time.
The real you. The one who existed before the world told you who to be. The one who felt truth before you learned fear. The one who dreamed boldly before you learned doubt.
Listen closely. There is a voice inside you that has been whispering for years. You’ve heard it in quiet moments— in the pause before a decision, in the ache after a mistake, in the spark when something feels right.
That voice is not random. It is not small. It is not weak. It is you, calling yourself back home.
And now… it’s time to answer.
Know yourself. Not the version shaped by approval. Not the version shaped by survival. Not the version shaped by fear of being too much or not enough.
Know the self that breathes beneath all of that. The self that is unedited, unfiltered, unafraid. The self that remembers its own power.
Because the moment you know yourself— truly know yourself— the world can no longer tell you who you are. The noise loses its authority. The past loses its grip. The future becomes something you shape, not something you fear.
So stand up. Look inward. Ask the questions you’ve avoided. Face the truths you’ve buried. Honor the dreams you’ve postponed.
This is your awakening. Not a beginning— a return.
A return to clarity. A return to purpose. A return to the person you were always meant to be.
Know yourself. And watch how everything else begins to change.

What's up, family folks from coast to coast and all around the globe? So glad you decided to stop by and hang out with me today. Today I'm frustrated. I'm agitated. I'm mad. I'm fucking mad. You know, I've been irritated for a little bit, you know, looking at the state of the world and what's happening with humanity and some of the obvious things, you know, what's going on with leadership, elected officials, administration, and the uh double standards, and how people are being treated, and how people are treating one another, the way people are handling people, you know, the less fortunate, the uh supremacy. Uh people are mishandling people who need their support, people who need people are preying on people, and it's frustrating to me day to day, in and out, in our cities, around the world, in our countries, in our churches, in our homes, in our streets, in our places of employment, you know, where we live, where we raise our children, where we love our parents, where we love our partners. It's not fair, it's not right, and it's not supposed to be this way. What are we doing? Where are we going? Who are we being? What are we trying to do? What is happening? Why is it happening? You know, and um, I'm just confused, I'm I'm bothered, I'm irritated. I am, you know, it's it's been on my heart for a long time, just trying to navigate and understand. No, I haven't lost my place, and I'm not confused about who I am and who I was raised to be and my place in the world, but I am certainly, certainly bothered and troubled by what I see about how people are being handled and policies and and the placement of our communities and what's happening, who's being hurt, people are being murdered, lost, forgotten, trampled on. It ain't right, and just being human is not enough when I know it's more than enough. How we're created, the way we're created, who we are created to be. We gotta get along better. We're magical beings, we're all meant to be here, we all have a purpose, we all have a place for being, a purpose for being. We all were created to do what we do, to push the next person, to lift the next person, to hold up the next person, to help the next person, to help ourselves, to be great, to be mighty, and it's a lot of corrosive energy in the world that's not helping, only hurting, and it ain't the way it's supposed to be. No matter the race, no matter the ethnicity, no matter where we come from, who we are. We're all only human. You are no better than me, I'm no better than you. We've gotta stop it. It's destroying us, it's destroying our children, the next generation, it's wearing down our elders. It's not a good place. I ain't happy about what I feel, what I see, what I know, what's going on, the pretense of it all. People who are supposed to stand for the rightness are only uplifting what's wrong. Elected officials who are to stand for the people who are only looking for popularity and serving their own purpose against the people. Uh, since when is legislature to be implemented to handle human decisions, what's right and wrong, what's good for the heart and the mind and the soul. I'm troubled by it. I'm troubled, I'm troubled, I'm bothered, I'm perplexed. I am, I am so perplexed by what I see, and we look at those spiritual leaders and those houses of worship and the people that go in and forget the people on the street, and the people on the street are the people who are in the churches, and we condemn and push to the side what's not popular or what's not the sin or the chosen ills of that week, and we push people to the side, and when that thing that people don't want to be named with becomes the thing that's inescapable, or the most popular thing, or the thing now that is in their family. Now they find a way to accept it and find a way to align with it and find room to advocate for it. It's just it's not the way it's supposed to be. It's not loving, it's not kind, it's not mindful, it's not God. Who are we? We are not God, but we are like God. We are the Christ in the earth, we are the manifestation of love and hope in the earth, but we are not loving people. You know, there's a quote out there there's no love like Christian hate. What are we doing to ourselves and to others? What's happening, what's missing in humanity, and this is not a judgment. Um this is to raise the bar. And I know it's it's just an awakening, you know, of what's going on. It's just an illumination of what's happening with the power of people. Um, but it's enough. It's it's time for us to to wake up and reclaim who we are and identify what's happening. It's a dis ease, it's a just a disorder in people and what's happening in the drama of other people's lives. You know, no true friendships, fake love, all those things are all around us. People are in our corner just to take from us, to learn of us, to power and lord over us for their own gain. No one's loyal to anything but themselves. People are so traumatized and they weaponize that to tear us down. Everybody has been hurt, been lost, been trampled on, but that's no reason to tear people down. Where is the kindness, the love, the peace, the patience, the endurance, the loyalty? Where is that? Everybody can't be so hurt and so lost that they tear everybody up. Nobody's loyal to anything but themselves. It can't be possible. It shouldn't be that way. It's not supposed to be that way, even in our deepest, darkest pain. There's gotta be some joy, some happiness, some wholeness. There's gotta be some healing. There's gotta be another chance to be who we were meant to be. It's never too late to be who you might have been.

Family, let's get back to the original plan. Let's get back to loving ourselves honestly. Let's get back to being ourselves authentically. Let's get back to being what we and who are we created to be as we are. Let's stop being fake and stop being funky and stop being stank. Let's be real, let's take the mask off. Stop fighting everywhere we go and fighting everybody we run into and being mad about everything, and stop being nasty and needy. People don't have to be there for you. You can't tear people down and then need what they've got. What are we doing? People of the world, how do we get here? We gotta move away from here because we're only tearing things down and ripping things apart, and there's no beauty, no value, no fruit, no harvest, no help, no harmony in these places of darkness and corrosion. It's a dark place. We gotta flip on the light, and it starts in us. What's happening? Family all over the world. Let's take a step back. Let's zoom out and shut down for a minute and restart. We can't continue to live this way. We gotta love ourselves better. We gotta say different things to ourselves, we gotta believe in ourselves again, we gotta love every part of us and not be so discontented with who we are. We gotta believe in us fully, but the beauty of us, even with our failures and our losses. We've gotta get back to understanding that there is beauty and there is strength and there is power, there is purpose, there is intent, there is joy, there is greatness in who we be. We can't let go of that. We were created to be greatness and power in the earth, to lord over the earth, to be good stewards over the things in the earth, to create, to be mindful, to be majestic, to be helpers of one another, to push people, to help people, to guide, to educate, provide insight, to have revelation, to be patient, to be kind, to be understanding, even if we don't agree, not to be hurtful and tear down, not to kill and to maim, not to take away, not to cheat and hurt, stop sleeping with somebody else's friends, stop taking away from somebody else. Man, we gotta stop hurting each other, stop using those excuses, man. We gotta come back and be whole and be at peace with ourselves. What are we doing? What are we being? How do we get here? And how do we get from here? This is not a safe place, it stinks here, it hurts here. I can't breathe in this place. I don't want to be here. You deserve better. Stop compromising yourself with people. If people don't want to come to where you are, don't shrink yourself to be where they are. If they think less of themselves, only settle for more. Come on, hear me. Wherever you are in the world, we gotta lift ourselves up. Think higher, never low. You gotta rise above, you gotta stay funky, you gotta stay chic. Be everything, everything, all the things. You know you can be, you were meant to be, you were born to be, only you can be. If you be who you be, I'll be who I can be. The world can be all we can be, and it can be a better place. We're playing games, we're playing small games, it's getting us nowhere. Hating one another is getting us nowhere. Hating ourselves has got us stuck out of fear, out of low thinking, low vibration. We gotta move out of this. This is trash, this is low, it's taking us nowhere, and there's nowhere to go but up. And if your neighbor doesn't want to go, family don't want to go, loved ones don't want to go, I'm trying to tell you, I don't want to leave them behind, but it's not your job to hold on to them. If they don't want to go, be an example for them. Get moving, rock and roll, and go.
SPEAKER_00
Experiences you didn't know you needed.
SPEAKER_05
If they want to go, the revelation will hit them and they can get going. But if they decide to stay, it's on them. We have got to clear out all the darkness and the muddiness and the ugliness and the hatred that is all around for no reason. The racism, the darkness is killing us. It's a deficiency, it's not helping anybody. Gratitude is the ease and the gateway to calm. We can't just be greedy and want, want, want, want. But we gotta stop right where we are and be thankful for what is, for what brought us to the place where we are, for what's sustaining us where we currently are, and remain grateful to take us where we want to be. We can't just want, want, want, need, need, need, need, get, get, get. We gotta no, no, no, who we are, where we are, how we are, and how we got here. We gotta clear this clutter, it's exhausting and it's draining. We gotta live a softer life, more of an ease, understanding who we are, that who we are is what we're supposed to be, understanding that whatever is going on in our life is what should be happening, and can't we cannot be upset or frustrated anticipating what's next because we gotta live in the now to expect what's next.
SPEAKER_01
So funky so chic, time for skin tree. Hope you ready?
SPEAKER_05
Now is important for what's next. Take it easy, my friend. Take it easy and embrace your life where it is. Less frustration, more adaptation. Breathe. Think about your life, think about your loved ones, think about where you've come from and where you're going. And be grateful for what life has brought you. Yeah, it's been tough, and and none of us know your life. So we don't know how it's been, but it still doesn't justify treating people the way you treat them. Sure, we can understand your frustration and your pain, your trauma and your losses, but it does not explain your behavior, and no one has to accept that. No one in the world. From the bishop to the bus driver, you're responsible for your behavior. So let's shake it off. Let's face it and fix it. Let's get in a better place. Let's find some joy, let's find some happiness, let's find some peace, let's shake off some old stuff, let's burn the past. Let some people go who's still stuck in what was, and let's get on the ride for what is and let people go. Yeah, they no good to us, let them go. If they don't align with who we are, let them go. The ones that are stuck in ego and still serving themselves, playing the games, playing fake friendships, fake, fake love ship, fake faith ship. Come on, man, it's time to move, family. We gotta go, and we gotta get where we're going and be who we gotta be. Life ain't meant to be long, and it doesn't need a lot of time for you to live a meaningful life, it's completely up to you. It's been on me for a while, just trying to navigate and see some things and and see some things clearly, and I'm I'm I'm starting to really drop some things off off off of me because I'm tired of things that don't belong. I'm tired of making them fit, I'm tired of tolerating people who don't fit anymore, who are still in an old way of thinking in their own mind, but don't align with where I'm going in my life and carrying baggage that's not mine, trying to fix something that has nothing to do with me, that doesn't belong anywhere on my dashboard. And I'm I'm challenging you challenging you to do the same thing, to move on. It's a time in your life where you just need to shift out of those things that no longer fit where you are and where you're going, and be really okay with that. Don't apologize, don't explain, and don't defend. Just stand on what you believe. Lead with intention and live from your heart. Be true and be honest. Trust the spirit, keep moving, stay focused, and don't go back to what broke you. If your past shows up in the future, it's gotta play by the new rules. You've gotta be determined to be everything you're meant to be. And it's up to you. Only you, only you can be what you've been created to be. It starts inward. Everything you need is inside you, it's not in a network of people or in a place or in a city or country. That may be the location of your awakening, but it starts inside of you. So visit with you to determine who you need to be and what you need, and then begin to follow the path and awaken all those things that need to come alive in you, and begin to activate that and become who you need to be, and don't let anything stop you from becoming who you need to be. Anything you intend to do in this life, do only that, and anything that's not that, cut it off. No matter how long you've been doing something. No matter how long you've known somebody, no matter how long you've been associated with a place or thing, once you realize that it no longer aligns with you, it no longer serves you or benefits you, cut it off. Ruthlessly cut it away. Closure is a trap. Let it go and go. Don't get stuck in the lullaby that you gotta say goodbye, you gotta write a note, you gotta have a conversation. The moment you realize that it no longer serves you, walk away. And however it's set up, don't stress yourself out. If a goodbye is in order, say goodbye. If you need to set up a dinner, set up a dinner. You need to send a card, send a card. The key is saying goodbye and moving forward. But don't get trapped in holding your goodbye, delaying your goodbye, because you need to set up a goodbye scenario. Get gone. It's important because what's waiting ahead is being held up, delayed, and maybe forfeited if you take too much time to say your goodbyes. We're talking about your life, and up until this point, so much of your life has been contingent on the conveniences or accommodating somebody else's ease. The more you serve you, the better you can serve someone else. The more you serve you, and I mean benefiting you, elevating you, edifying you, growing and developing you, so that you can beneficially serve other people. And I don't mean the fake humility of serving people and giving to people in a way overgiving or serving, or overgiving or serving in a way that is fake humility. I mean serving in a way where you're skillful, you're mindful, you're useful, you're beneficial, so that you can actually serve and benefit them, not just service in a way of being in the way, in a way. Beneficially serving people, having a purpose, and having proven results. Focus on you so that people benefit from who you are. I'm working through this. I know it's an awakening in me, but I'm speaking to others who are listening to me who are having similar experiences. Um, somehow you don't understand the frustration you're having with the things that are happening in the world, things that are happening in your world, around you, with people you know. You're not alone, it's not weird, it's okay, it's okay to break out, it's okay to say you're frustrated, doesn't mean you're not being positive, doesn't mean you don't have faith, doesn't mean you don't have directional insight, doesn't mean you're not mature, it means you're human. Being human is what this is all about, the beauty of being human and how you're encased in this body, this frame, but also this spiritual awareness, you know, the magical awareness, discernment that you have to tap in, to recognize, to discern, to determine, intuition, to capture, to feel, to know, to be aware. Don't miss it. It's a critical time to know thyself, so you can grow thyself and be thyself, the full strength version of thyself.
